About Artist /

Pauel Arc is a self-taught visual artist residing in Finland. Pauel started making arts after 40, in 2016. Struggling with clinical depression for years, Pauel uses his art as a cure and as a weapon against illness.

Despite a late start, Pauel produced an impressive result. The artist immediately gains interest and nominated for major photographic fine art awards.

Paul creates visually simple and graphical, but surrealistic and symbolic artworks with complexity and depth in it. The artist mastered to transfer his internal tensions to the canvas.

Like his favourite authors Edward Hopper and Andrew Wyeth, Pauel Arc invites us to find out the story behind the image. “I find it interesting to discover elements of eternal in ordinary things“, told Pauel.
